Thomas Edison

Dear Readers,
I am back after a long time with a new personality who really worked too hard to achieve a real status in his life......!!!!!!
Yes Ladies & Gentlemen the personality I am talking about is non other than Thomas Edison.
Edison started his school life quite late as he was a home sick. When he started going to the school, there his teachers never supported him. He was always bullied at school. He was kicked off the school after just three months of starting. But still not even at that point he left hope. He was still determined to do something great.

After being terminated from the school, he was home-schooled by his mother who took great care of the young lad. Her mother proved quite encouraging for the boy, and she kept on teaching experiments and lessons to him. He picked up alot from those short lessons.
Edison was naturally partially deaf from childhood and he was rusticated & bullied due to this reason.
Because of being too poor he had to work from his childhood. He started earning from the age of 13 working as a newsboy, selling newspaper and candies at the edge of a road near Port Huron. He spent most of his free time reading books usually scientific and technical. He was given a job as a telegrapher at the age of 16.
He invented a telegrapher and was given a platform as it became the first means of communication. This gave the chance to other people to move to see other countries. Means of communication got promoted in the mid of the 19th Century.
Edison worked in lots of countries before arriving to Boston in 1868. Here he got promoted from telegrapher to inventor. Edison was given the chance of inventing the electric vote caster. It was important for the elected bodies to cast votes. This was a public failure for him. From then on he thought of inventing only those things which would be publicly liked.
Then he gained his business after inventing the phonograph, the motion camera and the light bulb.
He got married to Mary Stiwell on 25 December,1871 when she was only 16. He had met mary two months earlier as she was an employee in one of his shops. Edison had three children named as following:

  • Marion Estelle Edison
  • Thomas Alva Edison
  • William Leslie Edison
But Mary did not live for too long and died in August 9,1884. And Edison married the second time in 1886 with Mina Miller when she was 20 years old. They also had 3 children named:

  •  Madeleine Edison
  •  Charles Edison (He took charge of his fathers company after his death and later on elected as the Governor of New Jersey. He also took charge of Edison's experimental Laboratories)
  • Theodore Edison
Edison left this world in 1831. And Mina outlived Edison and died on August 24,1947.

Sander's was born to a Presbitarian family. He lost the shadow of his dad in the age of only five years. From then onward's her mother had to work to fullfill the belly of her children. He was dropped from school in the seventh grade. Then his mother had done her second marriage. After that Sander's ran away from his home because his father beated him alot.
Sander's worked in many jobs in his early year's. He worked as a steamboat pilot, insurance salesman, farmer and also worked in army at the age of only 16(by lying about his age).
By the age of 40 Sander's had an idea of a chicken recipe. Since he did not have a restaurant so he just started serving customer's in his living quarter at a service station. People started loving his food and the popularity grew instantly. Afterthat Sander's had now got a restaurant. He was nothing before. Than Mr. Faiez went on a motivative seminar. In that seminar there was a person who was giving a lecture upon how to succeed in life. Before leaving the seminar he just made a promise to himself. He said to himself that from now onward's I am not gonna do anything wrong in my life. That was where Faiez Hasan made his life. From then onwards there was not a single day when he woke up with no aims in his mind. He was only a teenager at that time. You can also revolutionize your life. What you have to do is only make up your mind from nowonwards that you are gonna make your life a dream for you.
Faiez Hasan Seyal relates a very comprehensive story in his book Road to Success(4) about alice in wonderland

Alice: I am just finding out which way to go?(she had two road's infront of her)

        Alice: I don't know
Cat: Alice than it does'nt matter which ever way you choose......coz you dont know which way
                to go!

There is a short lesson in this short story.
"Make up your mind to choose what to do.....and then head for it!"(Sohaib Yousaf)
